THE FOLLOWING TEXT WAS FOUND IN A SMALL HOUSE IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, NEAR AN OLD ABONDONED ARMY BASE. THE PERSONS THAT FOUND IT STATED THAT "IT HAD APPEARED OUT OF NOWHERE" AND THEY DIDNT KNOW WHERE IT CAME FROM. IT REMAINS IN ITS ENTIRITY, BUT NAMES HAVE BEEN CHANGED TO PROTECT THE INNOCENT. Julie's Log, January, 12th, 1992
I can't believe tommarow is the big day. I've been preparing for this for about 3 years. I was selected when i first left college to become part of The Project. The Project was an secret government experiment involving time travel. The basic idea was to somehow construct a vehicle that moves fast enough to break the speed of light and travel forward in time as stated the Theory of Relativity. No one imagined how much more advanced we'd take it. When I got there, the Light speed vehicle (L.S.V.) was already about 93% in development. They also needed to develop a way to stop the aging process temporarily. So in my 3 years of service, we developed the C.L.S.V. (chryogenical light speed vehicle). Now the only question was, how do you get back? Research was done to achieve reverse time travel, but results were inconclusive. They could achieve reverse time travel, but the wormhole would only stay open for about 12 seconds, and can fit about 2 humans. So only 2 humans could make the first journey. But who?
We needed 2 people with enough information about the project to do the flight I was asked along with another man because of our young age, to make the time travel voyage. Our mission was simple, travel to the year 2645, take vivid notes, and then return home, all in about 4 hours. So we prepped for about 3 months and went through extensive weight training, while the track was built for our mission. The track was underground, about 1000 feet down. Only about 30 people knew how to get to it, much less the 5 passwords needed to bypass the security system. The track was simple. A large circle, with wide enough turns to keep a light speed vehicle stable. It all starts tomorrow. I can't wait. I'm going to have so many questions. I wonder where I’ll be.
