I just had a run-in with some old emotions. The same emotions that occured on the 11th.
Because remember, we can't forget! I was in school. In art class and the radio was on, the teacher was crying as she ancounced the news. As the day progressed 50% of the school went home. My peers were in the halls, bawling. Many realized that their parents would never be seen again.
I remember going down to the nurses office to call my mother and ask her if my father and brother were all right.
I paced back and forth, on the verge of crying. 3 mminutes lasted for ever.
When on the phone she assured me they were both ok. But still tears gathered, but didn't fall.
The footage on the news made me want to shut life off. The fires, the people. I woke up in the night crying many times.
This is to remind you all, never forget. Life is precious.
Love to you all from here in NewYork.
