it was a rainy night, no one was in sight except the two shadows under the big oak tree. i sat watching as they argued, yelling vulgarities at each other. i couldn't tell who they were, just that it was a man and a woman. he was mad at her because she had cheated on him with a guy that had been staying with her sister next door but she was mad because he had been cheating with her sister. (sounds like jerry springer he he) he hit her. she hit him back. yelling they just kept hitting each other until he knocked her up against the tree. you could hear her breath get knocked from her. "i'll kill you....." he shouted at her taking a knife from his pocket, slinging it open he started stabbing her. oh my God! i said under my breath. she was slumped over his shoulder and arm some how as he continued to stab her all the while yelling that she shouldn't have never went next door, your getting what you deserve, i can do as i please, vulgar, more vulgar... i was scared to move. i closed my eyes and when i had opened them again, he was carrying her to the car that was parked on the curb. it had stopped raining for a while and now it was just slightly sprinkling. i watched as he opened the trunk, threw her in and then closed it again. he went around to the drivers side, got in and sped off. i couldn't tell what the plate on it and have not ever heard anything else about it. nothing ever came up about it in the news, noone ever came around to investigate. i couldn't believe what i had witnessed. and still to this day, i have never seen anything like it. the reason this story is called the bloody bucket is this, the suburb was called 'the bucket' and after this happened, where bllod was the next day, everyone started to call it 'the bloody bucket'. and, no, i wasn't the one that actually witnessed it, but... it's easier to say 'i' instead of 'they' or whatever. i was almost a year old when this took place. zeeboette How it changed my life:it really hasn't
