I doubt that it would hold up in court because it was a circumstance beyond your control.... |

yeah we told him that, but he said he was going to sue us on because of "false advertisement" i guess he expects us to go out there and rearrange the entire menu everytime we momentarily run out of anything. some people! |

LOL...no, he wouldn't have a leg to stand on. In fact, you would probably have a better chance of suing him for harrassment. What a miserable man he must be...probably does this to whomever happens to be in his path each day. Don't take it to heart. I'm sorry you had to run into this guy. |

he would only win that if you advertised that it would always be in stock. can you sue a store that has a shirt in the add, and then you get there and they are sold out? no //same thing//necro420 |

I would think if you run out you run out. It happens at restaurants all the time so I don't see anything happening. *AMB907* |

Not likely, no was injured and you did offer to give him another item at a sale price. There's just no pleasing some people. But if he does try to sue, then he will be spending a ludicrous amount of money to some lawyer trying to fend off corporate attorneys. That is, if some lawyer is crazy enough to take the case. |
