I have a question for ya all...Which decade do you think had the best music?? (ex: 70's 80's 90's now) And what song or group is your favorite from that time? I think so far the 80's have it!!!

Thanks, *ChRiSsY~CoWgUrL*

Date: 7/19/2002 10:49:00 PM  From Authorid: 57232    I know many will probably disagree, because of the several one hit wonders, but I LOVE the 80's! I have to many favorites to list. Some are the crazy ones like "I eat cannibals" or any other song on the 2 Valley Girl soundtracks! I love the Cars, Blondie, Madonna, Prince, oh I can go on forever. B.Monkey13 oh another cool soundtrack even though the movie was made in the 90's Romy and Michele's High School Reunion!

Date: 7/19/2002 10:53:00 PM  From Authorid: 5940    This is a good post, but hard to nail down just one decade. I like music, and there are many artists I enjoy from various era's. Such as B.B. King, Muddy Waters,John Lee Hooker to The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who. Then there are others such as Blondie, The Cars, Devo, The Replacements. Jane's Addiction, Nirvana, Pearl Jam. Dave Matthews Band, Collective Soul. Aretha Franklin, Bonnie Raitt. Mose Allison, Ella Fitzgerald, and well.....the list goes on and on....

Date: 7/19/2002 11:58:00 PM  From Authorid: 38474    I love the 80's. All the music, everything from pop to rock to metal, etc. I love all 80's music...........
Date: 7/20/2002 2:17:00 AM  From Authorid: 6904    I think your favourate decade of music is usually the one when you were a teenager, because music is usally a big part of very teenagers life. Im a teenager now, so I think now is the best time- especially in England where there has been a big influx in the UK garage scene- Garage and hip-hop are my favourate types of music and there is a lot of that around now, so I say now is the best time for me!
Date: 7/20/2002 2:23:00 AM  From Authorid: 16950    I'd say 90's & now. I LOVE that heavy metal/hard alternative sound. :o) Take good care everyone & Bless you all! Love & hugs,
Date: 7/20/2002 2:24:00 AM  From Authorid: 16950    I do really like 80's music too but not as much. :o) Luv,
Date: 7/20/2002 7:27:00 AM  From Authorid: 58022    The 60s people!!!! THose were the best!!! Great, clean (most of it), music that really spoke about the time and place of the era. Stuff like the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Beach Boys, The Animals, The Temptations, The Byrds, Four Seasons, and BOB DYLAN!!!! The list goes on and on. I mean, what would the music world have done now if there weren't the Beatles and Bob Dylan in the 60s?? The Beatles totally shaped music from their time on, and Bob Dylan really got down into the heart and soul of people.
