Music...I love music; particularly Pillar and P.O.D. and Switchfoot...that's Christian Rock and I like country quite a lot, too. Books...I love to read, especially horror and suspense novels written by Stephen King ( all his books are great) and Dean Koontz ( all his books are great, too). :) |

Hi Lost Boy. Maybe You are just having a writers block due to new surroundings. Try just replying to other peoples stories and let Your creative juices work off of that. We all have to start somewhere. I remember when I came here I wanted to post the perfect story and ran into too much self criticsm. I couldnt think of something to post for fear it would be not interesting to the people. Once You start with the comments You will be surprised at how many different story topics pop into Your head. Good luck and Welcome to USM. Have fun. Bye for now. Enki |

Im not a big Dean fan. he's books always seemed like he was being paid to be good, and he knew about it . King is great, but i don't dig alot of his new stuff. Carrie is amazing, though. and the talisman is on my top five best books of all time. peter struab helped him out on that one, and hes amazing too. im not a big POD fan, and i don't know much of the christian underground, so i can't really talk there. but i do know this band on a christian label called project 86 that are rad as anything. :) -the lost boy |

Lol, alright. Dean Koontz wrote a really good book , I thought called 'Tick Tock'. I liked that one the best. I like a lot of the older rock songs , too. I think that with christian music you get the best of both worlds ( the hard music with God mixed in). Well, what do you like? |

There's a book called The Lost Boy, I thought it was good. If you think about reading it, you should read a Child Called It, because the Lost Boy is the sequel. If your interested that is. :D |

actully, i really hated tick tock! :) it seemed like he rushed the ending, and it was anti climactic. oh well, to each his own. I'm not christian, but as i said, i do love project 86. i like any kind of music really. rap is the only exception. i sorta don't think its really music. hehe. other then that, folk, rock, country, alternitive, punk....i like alot of local rock stuff, like in DC and annapolis. Ani DiFranco, as meantioned above, is a folk singer, and in my personal favorite singer ever. she is really amazing. I also love Our Lady Peace, Goldfinger, Setback, Incubus, Boa, Industry overflow....you prob. havn't heard of alot of these bands alot of them are local....but yeah. hehe. -the lost boy |
