He was kind of a mailman and so he *had* to deliver something. He kept that one box to tell himself that he has to do it. That's how I think it kept him alive :D cool movie  |

the box had wings on it, i think it gave him the idea to use the piece of metal as like a sail or sumthing, but he didnt, did he? lol. i love the movie tho, its gr8 ...metal princess  |

i think it has to do with it was his job, to deliver packages. it was kind of an inspirational thing,no matter what he was going to deliver that package, it gave him the drive to survive and get off the island. it may seem silly but it was the only thing he could see and touch to give him hope.... if you want i could go more into depth, i have a problem with analysing things to much.LOL  |

LoL..well I took it as it was sorta his way of staying sane and focused..It gave him hope that one day he would be able to get off of that stupid island and go home..and deliver the package. Also it was his job..maybe he wanted to fulfill an obligation too..  |
