Small town boy Just trying to fit in Giving into anything Commiting another sin
His parents hide their habbits Don't care to be there at night He's scared of his own shadow Can't even face the light
Watching behind shattered glass With their minds trapped in drugs He loses touch with reality Starts to hang out with town thugs
He slowly becomes a man As he toughens up too fast Uncertain of where he's going Trying to forget his childish past
The small town man Learns to live his own race He suddenly recognizes right Then the features on his bruised face
His parents clean slate hides The blame for his mislead life As he works to move on Trying to feed his child and wife
He grew tired of his problems One day he played with his fate As he stood on top of the building Holding a big duffel bag of hate
He waited for the people to arrive Then he slowly chose his lifes end Set off the bomb and stood there As the stone and blood slowly blend
I guess he forgot the past was gone He had another chance to begin Because he gave in once more To the life of bottomless sin
