interesting i have heard about this house before and i have also heard it is haunted with ghosts of her and the workers...i don't know why it would be though and i also heard it was never finished  |

ive more to add... Sarah was a very small person,i guess,because there are both tall doors and short doors! She was very superstitious,and with a reason! Did i ever tell you why she believed the fortuneteller? She inherited that fortune from her family company,who made the Winchester Rifles,and she thought that she had been cursed by those who had died because of a Winchester Rifle. Just a sort of update! Oh,and phoenix? Construction of the house hadd not ended til her dying day,therefore it never really WAS finished! the stairs that lead to nowhere? end pretty much beneath the roof. you cant really go any further... Fayes Eyes |

I keep thinking about visiting it since I live here in Calif. I heard she willed the house to the city to give tours, to make money to give to charities. She thought this would make up for the guilt of her ancestor that invented the winchester rifle, that killed so many people. She felt guilty over it, and thought this would help make up for it.  |
