Congrats!!! And you are on the right road. Time does heal all wounds, one way or another. The key is to never forget how far you've traveled to get where you are today. |

The wounds that are the deepest take longer to heal. Everything comes to a pass and nothing ever stays the same. Time? There is a "time" for everything, and a reason. Lifes lessons. Its great you are clean. Keep up the good work. Life is beautiful. I hope you can patch things up with your friend. ~ cherrymoon |

You should be proud too! You might feel more pain when youre sober, but you also now have the capacity to feel more of any emotion, so it IS worth it. Best of luck to you, what you have achieved is no small feat. |

I was an alcoholic, so I know where youre coming from. Once the booze/drugs are put down, many years of repressed feelings will boil up inside you. Ill never forget how much pain I was in. Your best bet is to seek counseling and 12. This will stregthen you and you will find it easier to cope with "feelings." Check out my post---I struggled w sobriety for 23 years until my encounter. |

Congradulations, keep it up? Time does heal and just make sure that you have a hand out for them. When they are ready they will come to you. Skeptic Angel |
