SO how do you classify a dog as vicous? Do you classify a vicuois dog by what breed it is. If you see a pit bull or doberman do you automatically assume it is a vicous dog? I ask because We have a pitbull. But she is very playful and listens to us she is not taught to fight or bite people. In fact she's a scardy dog when it comes to the basement. She will not go near the basement door (we think it is because she can here the washer and dryeer)LOL. But she is a good guard dog if she hears something unusual she will strat barking as all dogs do.

In our city what classifies a dog as viccous is if the dog has bitten two people or other animals. But we get people saying that we have to get $100,000 worth of insurance for the dog just because of the type of dog we have!!! We asked the Vet and he said it is not true. But that some people believe that certain breeds should have insurance because some stupid people who teach their dogs (which are usually pitbulls, Rotweiler's, and dobermans) to attack. So they think that all these dogs should have insurance. I think that is dumd. They think that these dogs are automatically going to be vicous. I think it is a type of Dog Rasicm.LOL
