how do i tell him?

i've known this guy since we were both like 3yrs old and he's been my best friend ever since... we used to date but we stopped cuz i thought i was over him and he said we weren't right for eachother. But now i'm startin to fall in love with him and i don't know what to do i don't wanna ruin our friendship but i can't hide my feelings for him i wish i knew if he feels the same for me if he does should i tell him how I really feel or should i hold back? He hasn't had a girl for like 2 yrs and i can't understand why cuz he's a VERY great guy I think he feels the same way bout me that i do bout him but kinda like me, he don't wanna take the chance and ruin our friendship My best friend says he's afraid of hurtin me but he wants to be with me really bad. cuz he knows i care about him a lot. and he cares bout me to but his friends HATE me and he doesn't want his friends to rag on me or him I don't know if its wroth tryin tho. Cuz i really love him and think it will work out i think if he really cares about me like he says he does it shouldn't matter WHAT his friends say all that matters is how HE feels His friends aint him its is life. i think its well worth tryin but i don't know All my friends say we should hook up cuz before when we were together we were both really happy should i just sit down just me and him and talk bout it and ask him how he feels tell him how i feel? Problem is.... i don't think i can do that But i know i have to if i want this. Because the most important thing in a relationship is talking with eachother but i just cant flat out tell him everything i feel for him. plus i think he already knows. And if he already knows whats his prob? Maybe he don't feel the same way but i'm pretty sure he does i just don't know I just don't know... What should i do? Its killin me! I love him with all of my heart i just wanna be with him and only him! HELP ME! PLEASE!
