SSG, try going to www.grisoft.com On that site, there is a free virus scan that catches pretty much every virus out there, and it is free. it's what I use, and I haven't had a virus infection yet. |

Umm SSg it sounds like you have a Antivirus program or a defrag progam that is turning itself on on your computer. I know I can set mine up to come on and run on a certain day and to do certain task's while I am asleep so that I dont have to waste time doing it later on when I'm awake. Look for your Scheldule tasks folder and see if you have anything set up to run. Also check your anitvirus programs and make sure you havent scheduled them to auto run or wake the computer everyday. hope this helps SmoknJoe |

your computer isnt possessed. its just something it probably wrong with it and it does that. but if you sit in front of it for a while and u see the button to the computergo in and out and nothing is touching it, then you can start to worry. but its probably something wrong with your windows set up. next time record the times that it does this, and the date and stuff. and then go to a mechanic. |
