Check out Australian Weapons Manufacturer MetalStorm...they are producing a number of smart-guns which operate on thumbprint scans...another possibility being investigated is an implant that 'feeds' back to a 'chipped' weapon, so only the authorised operator of that weapon (the 'implanted' owner) may fire it. Metal Storm has also created the 'Lead Lazer'...a multi barrel, multi projectiled electronically sparked assualt cannon capable of firing rates in excess of ONE MILLION rounds per minute...I say again...ONE MILLION rounds per minute. yeh aussie guns!! WHoa I heard theyre trialling these freak guns!! They have a little metal hook which shoots out and Hooks into skin, Then Currents of electricity is sent out to the hook, shocking the victum.. Thats what Ive heard, I dunno if its true or not but theyre supposibly trialing them in south Asutralia  |

None Lethal weaponary such as that has been utilised by various Law Enforcement Agencies for a while...the 'Wire Tazer' for instance, that fires metal barbs that stick into the person, these barbs are attached to wires that transfer current to the person and stuns/disables them. |

Here's an idea: GET RID OF GUNS! You want to hunt, buy a bow. If it is illegal to carry a firearm of any sort then any criminal found with one can be put away for the offence without the technicalities. It's not the pioneer days anymore people...  |
