Ghosts require energy to take form or to emulate sounds and such. This is one reason investigators always have to bring extra batteries. It's quite common for things like bulbs and lights to go on and off or blow out.  |

funny as my guy and I were walking along the docks this evening three of the ten or so lights went out as we were walking under them :) lol  |

Oh and My house goes through a lot of lightbulbs, and fans spontaneously speed up and slow down, and my cell phone lights up when I come near it... ummm the toilet starts running when I walk down the hall sometimes too LOL Could it all be coincidence? yep I guess so :) But what a stretch! |

Lights in my house flicker a lot and we know there are ghost here. If its because of that or not I don't know. But everyone who visits always ask why our lights flicker so much. Who knows. Princess Daveena |

Ive never seen a light bulb blow because of a ghost. One time I sprayed windex on one and it popped. Thats different though..  |

I've never read that it is an absolute indication of the presence of 'ghosts' or a haunting. Some authors suggest that 'whatever' is there may be doing for attention, to express some emotion(s) 'they' may feel or simply, 'who knows'? Flickering lights or bulbs blowing out, as in actualy exploding,very well could indicate the existance of type of paranormal activity.  |

oooo... i dunno. i've seen them in movies. must b freaky if ur all alone in your house, you're walkin through a hall, and one by one, the light bulbs go off..
