It's a constant battle being a human... trying to remind ourselves that even though we don't think we have much, we have more then many. Appreciating what we have is difficult because we're always tempted by what the next person has.
In example: We buy a home, which is more then some people ever have... but that's eventually not enough. Sooner or later the home isn't big enough, or isn't nice enough. We get a job paying more money then we've ever made, eventually it's just not enough cash. We get a new car and after a week, it loses it's allure. It's human nature to not know how lucky we are with what we have, until it's gone.
~There is beauty in having NOTHING... we appreciate every little thing we get.
