At least you know how long it'll be before you get back on. I lost my computer (long story) back in April. Didn't take me long to realize I did alright before I had one. Although life is never quite the same. It had to be sub-conscious sabatage!. I'll never own another PC if I say so! I'm going Mac and hope to never look back. My first computer was an Atari 1040ST with 1 megabyte of RAM (yes a whole megabyte). It was a poor man's Apple computer (except Atari had a color monitor) in 1988. Compared to that a PC is a nightmare when I worked on AutoCAD at a job (12 years ago) or my own desktop (3.5 years ago) then a laptop. Bethann--Kinko's rents computer work stations for 20 cents a minute with Internet connection (kinkos.com). Keep on slugging!  |
