Continued from part 2....
Adam set the phone down and said to his wife, "Still no dial tone." He then heard the foot steps coming up the stairs. Sammmie wimpered and hid under the bed. Adam and rachel lisened and the footsteps came closer. "Quick!" Adam exclaimed, "Lock the door!" Rachel rushed to the door and locked it. Adam went over to the drawers and pushed it infront of the door.
The footsteps came to the door and stopped. The door knob began to jiggle. "He knows were in here," Rachel wispered. "Shh," Adam replied. The door knob stopped jiggling. They expected the footsteps to start away but they ddn't. They heard nothing. Sammie got back up from under the bed. Adam went to the phone and dialed the police. "There's a dial tone!" Adam shouted. "Help! Some one is in our house....1987 32nd St....Okay...Hurry!" Adam said to the police. He set the phone down and said to Rachel, "Their comming right over."
