Promise me a vacation a chance to get away
Well I should of learned by now you never keep to what you say
Ready to go take my break
Wow was that a big mistake
I walk in the door and what do I hear
Oh sorry forgot to tell you we aren't going we're staying here
God did anyone ever think I need a chance to get outta this place
Or was the fact I've worked so hard all summer erased?
I'm tired I need to rest
But looks like it ain't happen even if I try my best
One week till I start up my first year of college all alone
Hey but the sad thing is man that will be my vacation away from home
