I was thinking that if I give her a gift certificate to a restuarant then she could go with her husband to spend some time away from my brothers!!! And hopefully he takes her out dancing afterwards. I think I am going to go with the gift certificate... But I could still use some ideas just incase i don't. |

Actually a gift certificate is nice, so she can get what she likes at her favorite dept. store or one from her favorite restaurant. |

A gift certificate to her fav. restaurant is a great idea! or you treat her to lunch and the two of you can go and have lunch. Does she have any books she really likes? Or maybe you could have a girls day out..like a day at the spa, have your nails and toe nails and your hair done, or have a nice massage done at the spa...something shes'll always remeber. |

I think you should take her out to dinner that would be sweet. Or a hand-made gift. Mums always like that Write a poem and make a card.. thats a very inexpensive thing to do if youre strapped for cash. Good luck! i hope she has a happy birthday |

BMonkey suggested the same thing I was going to suggest-- a gift certificate for a massage is what i got my mom for mothers day and she thought it was a great gift. |

Definitely a Massage Certificate or something...give her something that she can use just for her, to pamper herself with, relax and fade away any stresses in her life...hmmm...sounds like a bottle of Jack Daniels...LOL! Peace, |

avoid a gift certificate... i think that they are a cheap-out gift... you don't put much thought into it.. it's like giving cash.. there is nothing personal about it |
