One day in Eternity; A poem for my girlfriend *The Dark Angel*

Sweety, I know it always isn't easy for me
To show emotions or love or kindness
But even as time goes on, you'll always be
My one true ray of gladness

I know the beginning was rough on us both
At times it seemed like the end
But loving you has given me hope
You've helped my heart to mend.

I don't understand what my emotions are
Sometimes it feels like we're going nowhere
But I won't give up, we've come too far
I'll prove that I love you and care.

If I have you, nothing can be wrong
I pay no bother to worries or strife
For your sake and mine, I'll try to be strong
And love you for all of your life

Of all of the vows that I have made to you
This is the best one that I can give
One day in Eternity, you'll know it was true
You gave me reason to live.

Nancy, I love you more than life in itself, always have, and always will.
This I do swear before God himself
On my life
On my pride
On my being
And on my essence which will remain with you , from now till times forgot.
