Sitting on a leafless branch
staring at the world,
when heaven sent into my sight,
dancing in the morning light,
the image of a girl...

Her beauty, dressed in colored flowers,
I saw in her a work of art.
As she was walking, dressed in white,
I thanked the lord, inside my heart
for giving me my precious sight...

And for a moment, just a moment,
I felt the sweetest taste of wine,
i came back slowly to myself,
and everything..was fine...

A crack, a craash, and I was down,
the branch gave way to ground,
the wine inside turned into gin,
I looked at her, she laughed at me,
I thought,"she's a monster within..."

I shrugged and leapt back to my feet,
I laughed and scratched my head,
I simply walked into my room,
and had a beer in bed...
