But It is a narrowminded view by some people. Actually Kelsey, I must commend the mortal men who wrote the Bible. A lot of the accounts tie in together even hundreds and thousands of years apart. That I must give them, at least they were vigilant in their workings. The "Judge Not" thing doesn't work SmoknJoe, a girl I know pulled some scripture she claimed said God tells us to Judge others. Which is a contradiction to a "flawless" book, but oh well. I usually reply when I get the old "Your going to Hell in a handbasket" remark in an odd way. I smile, hug them tightly, and said softly to them "I'll be sure to save you a seat" then I walk off smiling. Gets them EVERY time.  |

And if anyone else says anything to you ask them if they are God. Because isn't it him who decides who goes to hell? And also as I see it EVERYONE is going to hell because just about every religion thinks the other religions are all going to hell for not believeing "THE RIGHT" religion. |

Well, I've been condemned by others also, not necessarily about going to Hell. I am a Christian and I don't condemn others to Hell, no one has that right. You are who you are and not for me to judge. In my opinion, only God knows who will not be with him when the End comes. I just hope I am! ;o)  |

There are many contradictions in the Bible and maybe that's why I never wanted to follow it. Yes- I have to agree with you when you say that things tie together even though they are so far apart in the 'book'. I'll have to try the hug and walk away thing if i ever get the chance.
