it is prophecy fulfilling itself..Jesus will come again and save those who believe His stories and truths of the importance of love...if you open your eyes, you will see love is loosing the battle...Satan is being allowed to use some of his powers right now...it's in the last chapter of the bible...also Daniel is a good reference for prophecies! I believe our world will only get worse, but I live in my own little world most of the time, so I have a tendency to enjoy life anyway, the old adage holds much truth for me...do unto others as you would have done unto you...if you go around being kind and thoughtful, it becomes second nature and generally good things happen to you in return...kinda like karma, ya know! anyhow good post...I wrote a poem on this subject above if you like that sort of think...it's titled Scary Thoughts of Americans...~SpaceCase  |

you know i've always got the news on or something in the background at my place*L* i am always listening to the news when online(what can be a few hours a day... on different stations) i was shocked when they said that some terrorists had BE-HEADED 2 people in the phillipines....some of this stuff is too horrid and it's just getting worse... people attacking people....fights gangs crime rings... and all the politics!! everything has political red tape tossed in it.. about 2 weeks ago a family died because of political red tape when their boat flipped over and the cost guard who was there soo quickly couldn't enter the flipped boat... why.. because they had to wait for military divers  |

I try to look at the good things in life...mostly materialistic-- my family, friends, and boyfriend. It's hard to find a nice place to retreat to though. Going to a nice park alone could get you raped or something. I feel safer right here in front of my PC. I avoid watching the NEWS. It sucks.  |

WELL - before we were born our parents thought the same way - and before they were born our grandparents thought the same way! Yes this world is not the LEAVE IT TO BEAVER way everyone thinks it should be. IT NEVER WILL BE..... you just have to be careful, you have to watch your kids with every bit of energy - you have to do things differently than our parents did. Matter of fact we have it worse. We cant just let our children go outside, we have to go with them. ALmost everyone owns a handgun, and are taking coarses to learn to shoot it. You cant trust anyone- THAT MEANS no one until they earn trust, then you must still be leary! You can not trust your children with anyone- absolutely anyone..... THE NEWS HAS BEEN attracting so much media because of kidnappings, but they happen like this everyday - its just now they are dwelling on it, which is good, those pictures get out to the public. I think the AMBER ALERT is wonderful! Anyways theres my opinion.  |

Listen! Bad news sells OK? Lighten up and look around you. Don't get drawn into this fear thing. It'll only bring you down. There have been a lot of news stories ever since 9/11, and all putting the fear into us. Rise above it everyone. Media manipulation is real. There are lots of good things going on, but we never hear of those. Look at posts on here. People reply to the shocking ones; the ones that cause us to fear. Nice ones only get a few. We are conditioned in so many ways to look for that scary feeling which causes us to produce adrenaline in our blood stream. We don't run it off. We just let it lie there in our blood. I believe that causes stress-related diseases. It's no wonder we believe the world is going downhill if all you see and hear are what's on the news. Do some meditation. Take care. - Coolade  |

I wasnt on last night. If you will read history, you will see that AS this world TAKES God out of everything, then the evil abounds even more. Am I perfect, heck mags you know I'm not. However God is IN my life, in my prayers and in my heart. What ever the flesh does at times, In no way takes away the fact that God is there. However we do have a society where NOT only is God NOT there, they DONT want Him there. No mags it isnt going to get better.  |
