i do agree people do look at looks.... a classic is ELVIS if you can believe his records sold ok.. then he was on his first TV spot singing.. and the boy with the good looks and charm ONLY AFTER THE TV SPOT sold millions!!! people fell inlove with his image not just the music(even though he is pretty decent in his own way)  |

Agree so many greats of days gone by would not make it in today's loks ased world Janis Joplin, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Buddy Holly, and Tom Petty to name just a few  |

I agree somewhat. But I do have to say, look at some of the Beatles' LATER songs do have great messages. And they weren't that good looking (at least not Ringo LOL). But anyway, I do think that society bases way too much on looks, and not enough on substance.  |

Of COURSE it is all about looks now. You can't succeed in the entertainment business if you don't have the 'right look'. Sadly, people wil forcus more on the image more than the talent. But, as much as I hate to face the facts, thats all people care about these days. They think that if you have looks, you must have talent.  |
