I dont think anyone knows why.It why the government kept it such a secret. I watched an Unsolved Mysteries special on this(heheh,i just realized how funny that sounded) and apparently,there were lil alien dudes that'died' and no one really knew what happened,especially not me! But i remember something about gas,and a nurse who told a doctor about everything she saw. Apparently,the nurse was never seen again,but the doctor did act as witness.he was interviewed on USMmthe TV show,that is! Fayes Eyes |

I saw some film on the wreakage... there was a piece of aluminum looking beam about 1 1/2 inches tall and about 2 foot long... interesting thing is the word "video" was inscribed on it... ( Aliens that obviously want us to be able to tell what is what on their ships...:)..) and a piece of what was called a mysterious metal that would return to shape after being wadded up... It looked just like what today we call aluminized mylar around 6 mill thick... about 3 times thicker than the material used in todays party balloons, but just about right for a top secret high altitude balloon using an unknown at the time,, to the rest of the world material that allowed it to hold on to its helium much longer than anything else of its day... I am sure it looked very mysterious in "47" but today if the same event happened we would laugh it off... I find it amuseing that the one time I thought I saw a UFO while I was flying my plane (it really looked scary and very bright and closing fast...) As it closed on me though and the apparent true size became noticeable... It was just that a aluminized party balloon reflecting late evening sunlight and it passed harmlessly by my port wing about 250 feet away... (at 4000 foot agl)...So much for my great UFO encounter... Believe what you will the truth is out there somewhere...To quote Mark Twain..."never lend to conspiracy what can be explained by ignorance... ~ Jay ~  |

hey lil dudette!! Roswell's based on the following: a strong summer thunderstorm swooped the area in the desert outside Roswell while the military base nearby supposedly was tracking a blip in their radar. Then the blip disappeared (leaving one to think it crashed cause of the storm). Then farmers had trash trails consisting of weird metals, debris, etc., which the army came and cleaned up---fast. They gave a report that it was one thing to the media, then retracted it and said later it was a weather balloon that crashed. People in Roswell said that they saw a flatbed truck with something on it covered up that was in the shape of an acorn the size of a car, and others claimed to have glimpsed small bodies, etc., and were threatened by the military to keep quiet. This was the first public exposure of mysterious flying saucers, and it dealt with a REAL military coverup (whatever it was). That is why it is famous. Now, since you know the general summary of it all, do what the first comments on the post advised, and use your search engine. Also, there are some books on the subject in any library and bookstore. thanx that was the answer i was looking for umm i did do a seach on it and i found tthis site but i forgot the name of it but it had a picz of the "creaturez" and sum of them had the leg off and there was wholes in there arms and stuff from the crash |
