The irony of this situation is I spent 25 years in North Carolina and always thought I wanted to get out. Back in January I moved to Mississippi with my future husband. Now I am soooooo Homesick for NC! I miss my home. I miss being able to take off and go to the mountains or the beach, which ever stuck my fancy at the time. I miss the beautiful land that I am from.  |

awwwwww.....don't worry...it will be okay in time. I currently live in Louisiana, and in a few weeks or more i'm moving waaayyy up to Massachusetts to live with my boyfriend. That is a looooooong distance away from my family and friends!! Don't worry, you're not the only one going through with a big move...i will be sharing the grief with ya soon girl...lol  |

actually, I've lived all around Texas all of my life...there's a lack of litter, a whole bunch of trees and amazing beauty in several parts of the state...i can totally relate to wanting to escape a big city like Dallas, but I also understand the desire for NC...if I were to have the coice, it would be NC or TN for me anyday!! I love Ashville and the awesome mountains...smells and gorgeous countryside, but I won't complain if I never get out of Texas...there's no place like home...UNLESS it's NC!! You will be ok sis, you didnt abandon us. As for mom, I think she was being very selfish about the whole situation...You need to go out an experience new things, we will miss you ofcourse, but you can always come visit, or we could visit you. "Leroy" might be able to visit more often than others LOL. You are gonna be fine girlfriend..  |
