She melts your soul
and skins you to the bone,

but I never can get pass the dial tone."

what it means to feel blue,
How It feels to find out
you lost the true love
that you never knew.
How's it feel to know
missing won't set you free?
How did it feel to found out,
your still not over me?
Love, it never turns out right,
sometimes you want to brush it off
to turn in for the night.
But it always stays,
in places it is known,
it never goes away,
when your heart it calls it's home.
When she's holding you
tears they seem to fall,
it's not easy to let go,
when you've fallen after all.
So how did it feel
to have your heart
ripped from your chest?
To have the memories die,
to lay them down to rest?
How hard was it
to watch me walk away?
To fall apart inside,
wishing I would stay?
It wasn't so easy,
not like you thought it would,
to have to move on,
and pretend that life is good.
Cuz the world won't stop
just because you want it too,
Life keeps on living,
even when you've lost, you.
So how did it feel
to finger the dark?

How was the trip
from the love you did not see?
