Blinded by the fear in me,
can you see what's going on inside?
I'm falling down....Crying out...
Let me show you what it's like to be dead,
this is how nothing feels.
Eternity is breaking down,
are you blind?
Just let me feel this moment
that won't last any second's worth.
Some one once told me that I had to be afraid,
and now that this moment has come -
I don't feel it now.
All I feel are the scars running up my arm,
the thick blood dried oh so long ago,
then why do I feel the warm liquid along my skin?
The black is forming beneath my eyes,
I can feel the darkness sinking in.
Images so blurry,
crying out to you...
Surrounded by this water,
I must come up for a breath of air...
So is that why I ignore the feeling in my lungs,
drowning deeper down into the dark icy water,
I am ready.
This is the moment that every one in life fears -
yet this is the moment where for the first time in my pathetic life,
I smile, knowing this is the only time
that I can say "I'm happy"
without having it be a lie.
My vision fades away,
the pain is growing intense,
I am happy.
The water is closing in,
I can't feel it any longer,
death is coming for me,
and I am happy.
