So you're saying they hired 15 illegal immigrants? *covers face and shakes head* Apparantly background checks don't apply to those willing to work for low pay. |

i've flown since then, and though they seemed to check more thoroughly than they used to..if i'd wanted to sneak something on board i could have..i had snaps and metal all over, and kept beeping, they had to take me over and do the wand thingy ----and i still beeped, now you could see that the snaps were causing some of it, but it beeped other places and i don't know what all metal i had on, but - never did they get me to where i didn't beep - and they didn't 'feel' me to make sure it was the snaps --they didn't search my luggage, and they only searched about 1 in every 10 peoples bags. and the cockpit doors, i could SEE through them, there's a bout a half inch of sunlight showing through the crack between them, and i could see into the cockpit..very flimsy doors. |

Heathrow is Britains MAIN airport, imagine how slack other airports are if our main international airport is this slack. |

i agree, these were major airports i went to...so, i can't imagine the less traveled ones....and i saw a report (i forget where, yahoo i think) that about 16 of 22 people that tried got into an airplane with a knife (meaning, they either weren't searched or it wasn't detected)....scary - |
