Good from birth, Evil from life, or from what life has dealt us I suppose. That's what I think any way. As for keeping a person Isolated, well, I would make a good subject for that experiment and trust me, it makes a person anything but "nice". LoL. Most people just think that I'm weird and its usually hard for me to interact socially. |

I think it goes both ways ... there are people in history that it seems where definately born evil and the same for people who seem to have been born purely good ... then there are people who definately seem to be the produts of their environments |

I think everyone's nice as they're born, but they get used to the enviroment, and that changes them. As time proceeds, i believe, it's just a trait that some people receive. ~*Dangerously Tempted*~ |

on a psychological level, you really need to define good and evil. I dont know if you mean it is part of their personality or whether you are asking if bad behaviour is genetic. mental illness has been linked with both genetic and enviromental influences but mental illness may make us do bad things but it does not necessarily make someone evil. how can it be evil if they are unaware of doing it or it being wrong in the first place. AS for being good, this is learnt, you are taught to do the right thing by other people, you are not born with manners or caring attitudes. they develop over the life span. |

I agree with you. When a child is first born it is pure and good. Even if the child does something wrong, he or she doesn't know... I think that a person becomes evil when they learn the difference between evil and good, and choose the evil. I think that if a person was isolated their whole lives they will still be good, although not necessarily the nicest person... they'd be like a child, they don't know any better. |

I belive we are born pure from God, but we are corrupted by Human kind. Once sin enteres the equation we become un-pure and corrupt. And I bleive the type of eviroment you grow in EXTREMLY influences how bad/good you will be. So yes, born pure. |

First question: Depends what you mean by 'pure' and 'corrupted.' I believe that babies are born uncorrupted, and can be corrupted by their environment. Second question: If you isolate a baby from birth to death then there will be no way of measuring whether or not he or she is a 'nice' person. - Coolade |

Neither. WE have both good and bad people in the world. I think it might be because of their enviroment but ultimetly they will be what they will be, good or bad. Kids pick their own friends most of the time and that says something about who they are. At least I think that a little. Whew, it's late. |

I think we are born pure, what we see and hear is what makes us who we are...B3autiful05 |
