Unfortunately I ran out of packing tape...or I just couldn't find it ;) So I ran out to king soopers to get some new tape. Now MY car is acting funny...so since my folks are out of town camping I've just been using dads car. which mind you I drove for the first time yesterday LOL I get done at kings and hop in the car....the steering wheel is LOCKED....ok I know with mine all I gotta do is turn the wheel and the key at the same time and it'll unlock....so I try with no luck. I try turning the key jerking the wheel EVERYTHING I give up.....figuring there's a magic button I'm not seeing...I try and call my folks on dad's cell...but big suprise no answer.....so I'm thinking....DANNY! he might know...well something to try. But he doesn't answer his phone! *pouts* So I'm thinking 'great I'm gonna have to catch some stranger and ASK them for help'...then I think: 'Grandpa!' he owned the car before dad he'll know!' then my phone rings...It was danny LOL....I'm explaining my situation....'I've turned the wheel I've turned the ke....what's that beeping?' 'what beeping' 'do I have call waiting on this thing?' 'I don't know' But then the beeping stopped..... so I ask so how am I suppose to get the wheel unstuck? I'm stranded at kings.... 'most of the time you just have to turn the key' 'I DID that already and nothing happened!' I'm turning the key as I said that and wouldn't you know it the dang thing started and unlocked! 'ok so it work....there's that beeping again hang on lemme check to see if it is another call' sure enough it was dad. 'what's wrong?' 'Does this thing have call waiting?' 'what thing?' 'my cell' 'yeah it's the same plan I've got....what's wrong?' 'well I got danny on the phone as well can I call ya back when i get home' 'ummmmm ok..' LOL my poor dad probably felt 'great I'm no longer the one she turns to for advice anymore' *Sigh* I did call them when I got home though to let them know what was up. mom kept asking 'ok your driving dads car why?' lol 'mines gonna explode that's why' ;) *blushes* So dad's car and me are NOT friends....but it's my only transportation at the moment til i get mine checked out LOL Plus side...I haven't forgotten how to drive a stick shift!
