Well I can't dance either, but I just move and make it LOOK like I know what I'm doing, lol. My advice on that is just be yourself, do your own thing, and don't worry about what other people think... oh yeah and don't flail your arms and hands around, that's a no-no, lol. As for the hair... do it in a half pony-tail, only pull the half that you put up into a messy bun, and curl the hair that you don't put up out at the ends. But most importantly HAVE FUN! That's all there is too it, haveing fun, and BELIEVEING that you can dance, will make everyone around you think you're awsome, it's all about confidence. Good-Luck hun, and congrats on being asked to your first dance :) Erin- |

dancing is an expression of who you are.. unless the school does proper formal waltz's then you have no worries about dancing |

Curly and shoulder length hu? So do I. At my first school dance I put it in a soft bun with ringlets hanging down on the side. Everybody loved it. On how to act, well be yourself. LeeC |

When I started going out to clubs I didn't know how to dance, so I just copied other people- and now they copy me! So follow everyone elses lead! My best mate has curly hair and she puts a hairband in and then puts in lots of mousee and hairspray to seperate the curls, then tongs some of it to put in some more curls. Then for things like dances she puts in products that highlight her hair colour, like gold hairgel. You could try that. Congratulations by the way, and good luck! and about how to act- just be yourself, you got asked by someone because they obviously like who you are. so just be the same! |
