I have posted about my mother-in-law before and how things have changed between all of us.
Gary told me this afternoon that he seen his parents at the store. His dad always goes out to the car after a while, waiting on Shirley and Gary's elder aunt to finsh shopping.
He talked to Shirley about some things that she said to Alicia the last time she stayed the night at their house. Some things that I personally don't agree with and that really upset me. He said that she told him that Alicia told her some thigs that weren't worth repeating. I know for a fact that this not true. I have not said anything out of the way to Alicia or Matt about their Grandparents or anyone else in Gary's family. Too, I asked Alicia if she said anything to her Grandma out of the way the last time she was with her. She said she didn't, and I believe her. Like I said, there was nothing for Alicia to tell or say to Shirley to begin with.
I think the reason that Shirley told Gary that it "wasn't worth repeating", is because she knew there wasn't anything ever said by Alicia. She is just trying to get the heat off of her, once again. And putting it all on an innocent child. I suppose Alicia is the one that made them speek things before that shot through my heart like a 38...
Sometimes I get so upset with his family, I feel like getting a divorce. I have spent half of my life with Gary and have never even thought about doing the things that his first wife did to him. I often wonder if I went to the bars and came home smelling of other men's cologne, if that would make them appreciate me a little more.
