Well, as you know, Grandparents day is this Sunday. Today at school, we had a Grandparents Day Celebration. We had projects and we had to do it on our grandparents or their generation. People made family trees and symbol bags where you put objects in a bag that relates to ur grandparents. Well, it was a big success. Alot of grandparents showed up and shared alot of things with us. I learned that the Candies shoes are made by my Great Uncles brother, or something like that. LOL! And my Poppa refers to our family as having the Heinz 57, because we have french, italian, portaguese, and no telling what else. We had little refreshments for the Grandparents and did a little slideshow of all the events. At the end, we gave them a bookmark with a pin on it for them .Then we brought them to the front and thanked them for coming. After that, we had to write a journal on our party. And I think it really touched my Mimi and Poppa, to be able to come to this and make them feel special too. Grandparents are such a great part of our families and it wouldn't be the same without them. They have so much knowledge and so much they can teach us. So for this Grandparents Day, call them up and tell them how much you appriciate them. I wish a great Grandparents Day to everyone!
