Kim went to school the next day just as she always did.
While walking to school with Tereasa, something shiny caught her eye about a block away.
"What is that, Tereasa?" Kim said as she pointed to the shiny object.
"What's what?"
"That shiny object over there." Kim said again and pointed.
"I think I need to get my eyes checked."
As the two grew closer to the shiny object, Kim could make out what it was.
"It's a ring!" Kim exclaimed.
"Where?!"
"There on the ground!"
"I still don't see it."
"Here," Kim said as she picked it up. As she held it, she saw an image of a girl with brown hair. The girl looked familiar but she couldnt place her.
"Woah!" Tereasa gasped," You saw that all the way from back there?"
"Yeah, you couldn't see that?"
"I think it's just about impossible to see. I can't even make out the people from here, let alone a ring."
Later on, during History, Kim had a test. She finished the test in a heartbeat and just started to daydream. She looked over at her History teacher, Mr. Lunther, who was lost in a book.
'I wonder what he's thinking,' she thought.
As if he were talking, she heard him start talking.
"I wish my wife and I were like that. Maybe I should plan something like that. Yeah, I hope she will love it just as this girl did."
Kim looked at him as he said this but his lips never moved. Kim found this odd. Was she reading his mind? Kim wouldn't know. She gazed around her classroom. She looked at the back of the girl who sat infront of her. She focused hard. Pretty soon she could hear what the girl was thinking.
"What am I going to do?! I didn't even study for this test! What are my parents going to say when I come home with a F written on my paper?"
Later on, during P.E., Kim had another strange experience. While running, she saw the girl that Kim pictured when she held the ring she found earlier. When P.E. was over she ran over to her, ring in hand.
She tapped the girl on the shoulder. She turned around.
"Is this your ring?" Kim asked.
"YES!" she exclaimed,"Thank you for returning it!"
"Your welcome!" When she turned around to walk away, she tripped over that girl's backpack. She cut her knee open and it started to bleed alot.
The girl called the P.E. teacher. Immediatly Kim was brought to the nurse. By the time the nurse had her all bandaged up, her mom was there to pick her up. Her knee was to weak too walk home.
When they got home, her mom immediately sat her down.
"Alright," her mom said unsure of herself," Let me see it."
Kim peeled the bandage off, and was greeted with pure skin.
"WHAT?! There is no way it could have healed that fast!"
Her mom looked at her knee, astonished.
"Mom, what's going on?! First I actually start doing well in school. Next, I can hear and see things that no one else can. Now, a deep cut in my knee, magically disappears. What next mom?! What's going on?"
"Kim," Her mom paused then coninued," You're a clone."
Hope your liking it!
