Back to the haunted field   Author:  38943  Category:(Ghosts) Created:(9/7/2002 5:48:00 PM) This post has been Viewed (769 times) Alright for those who read my last post about the haunted wine country this post is about me going BACK there.... yah i went back last night. The quote goes "fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me" well i changed that to "haunt me once shame on you haunt me twice.. still shame on you lol" anyways I had an idea this time. I would set up a couple flood lamps and go check out the "dry spot" in the center of the field. Yah i brought a shovel too dont worry haha. I set up the two flood lamps and started slowly walking to the cirlce in the middle. I was about 30 feet in all away from it so there were some weird shadows being made by the lights. Anyways, I started to dig in the center of the circle. When i saw something from the corner of my eye. And then i felt something RUN down my spine. It was a shock, it was my sense that theres a danger around. I turned the shovel around and held it like i could hit someone with it. I swung around.... NOTHING! I thought maybe im just paranoid, you know im out in the middle of a feild digging a hole in a haunted field. Anyways i turned back around and continued to dig. Then again I felt that chill, I started to back away from the circle almost in a daze.... And i walked behind the light not turning my back on the dry circle. It was weird because there was a round shadow over the hole where i was digging!!! And I said that doesnt make sense because if you saw the way the light was set up it was going past the dry spot.... I dont know if you understood it sorry if it was unclear. Well i grabbed my flashlight and went up to the circle. And pointed it right at the ground.... THE SHADOW DIDNT GO AWAY!! Its like my flashlight didnt turn on!!!! Right then i heard a small BANG! my flashlight busted the glass on the front and the whole bulb part broke spilling the batterys on the ground. My eyes widened and i started to back away from the circle. I saw something in the corner of my eye again and i turned around. THere was a shadow on the ground and it moved very rapidly to the center of the dry spot and disappereard!!!! I heard a girl scream and that was it! I was out of there. I grabbed the lights and the shovel and I ran away. I went back this morning to the field.... it was like i never dug it up!!! the dry grass was still there!
