It was 7:45am. She was walking to school. Letting out a big sigh,thinking another boring day, another boring class. Nothing ever happens in this boring town. Those words would come back to haunt her. Kira continued on her way to her first class history. Aloud she say's to no one, 5 months to graduation and I am so out of here.
After history she went down to the basement for P.E. she had swimming today. Kira changed into her swimsuit and jumped in the warm water. She did a lap or two, cimbed out of the water and sat on the edge of the pool. She looked at the still water and she was thinking how fast she could just get this class over. Hearing the other students laughing she knew class would be starting soon. She kept watching the still water, when it became active. What the ??? Why is the water moving? Soon the building started to shake the the ground too. She was thrown back into the water. Oh my God what is happening she screamed?
People were screaming everywhere! Parts of the building were crashing down. Oh dear God I'm in the basement she screamed. Swimming to the edge of the pool she tried to pull her self up. The shaking would not let her. Help me she screamed to anyone. Help meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
Josh and another student heard Kira's screams and got her out of the pool. They ran up the stairs as fast as they could. The first exit was blocked by debre so they climbed up to the second exit, they got outside. What they saw terrified all three of them. Most of the school had been shook so hard that the buildings had crumbled to the ground. People were dead, some dying as they looked. Oh my God Kira screamed, my mom I have to go see my mom. She took off running and reached her home. The house was just like the school crumbled. Mom she screamed! Mommieeee where are you? She dug through the piles and saw her mothers hand. She grabed it, it felt cold. She swiftly dug her mother out, it was to late her mother was dead. Oh my God no no no she screamed!
She then heard this strang yet familar sound, close, yet far away. She closed her eyes and listend. She knew what that sound was! She remembered! It was the alarm clock. She woke up and shut it off. She threw the covers back and ran to her mom. She was in the kitchen making breakfast. Mom Kira said and ran to her mom's arms. What's the matter honey? Her mom asked?
