"Hi Bren!" Rika said to him, smiling. "Hi. Okay. Can I - uh - ask you something?" M.Man replied. Rika was about to say "Sure" when Luv Bug came strolling up. "Hiya guys!!" Luv said perkily. "Oh great," M.Man muttered, rolling his eyes. Just what he needed...Luv's interference. "Hi Lizzel!" Rika said to Luv. "Hi, now bye," M.Man said. Luv looked at him awkwardly. "Ohhh, I get it, Bren!" Luv said with a wink. "See ya guys later!" She walked away. Rika turned to M.Man. "So what were ya gonna ask me?" she asked. M.Man took a deep breath and shifted his eyes nervously. "Will you go to a place with me?" he finally sputtered out. Rika looked at him, puzzled. "A place? Like where? Do you need to go see ICUNurse at the nurse's office? Do you gotta talk to Prinicipal Radman or Prinicipal Ginger?" M.Man sighed. "No, what I meant was...will you go on a DATE with me?" Rika smiled brightly. "Sure! When?" M.Man was grateful she had said yes...he thought she'd say no. "Um, how about tonight at - uh - 7:30?" he suggested. "Okay!" Rika answered. M.Man smiled back at her. "Cool, dude," he said. With that, they walked to their next class. M.Man just hoped Luv wouldn't drown him in "Awwwwwww"'s and "How cuuuuuuute"'s when she found out that the date was set. **Hehe, more to come!
