What Should I Do?
I don't know what to do anymore. I am tired of paying for a house that continues to be dismantled by a child.
Matthew is killing my house. First, it was the closet door. He took it off and hung a sheet up there. Yeah! He was punished for that.
Next, he put a couple of holes on his walls and shot the ceiling with the BB gun. He was severly punished for that.
Then, he took his door knob off of his bedroom door. I have no idea why. Yep! Another punishment.
Just a few minutes ago, I went outside to walk around (something I do just about every night). I noticed his bedroom light was on, so I came back in the house to tell him he needed to go to bed. (It's almost 10 o'clock here).........
He was laying on the floor, half way in his closet (or what's left of it) asleep. He has taken the walls off of the closet. It is just a big open space now. The 2x4's, what's that white crap?, molding... all of it is laying on his bed. Clothes all over that he was supposed to put up earlier.... yes! all unfolded.
I'm at my wits end!! I told him that I was going to take pictures of it and prosecute him. Wrong of me, I know!!!!!!!!!!! I just don't know what to do anymore. I am tired of crying about this crap! I'm tired of being worried all the time! I feel like I can't 'live' in my own house. Here I am working as hard as I can... Gary working as hard as he can... and in a year's time... we won't have anything to show for it because it's all going to come tumbling down around us and Matthew will be the one holding the nails and screws.
What should I do? Anyone with any suggestions? Keep in mind that Matthew has ADHD, BPD, ODD and CD.
