Because I would rather show maturity by ignoring them than have their mother or father come over to me and confront me about talking to their children, lol |

I think I would speak to a supervisor to make them aware of what is going on and have THEM take the appropriate action..Like remove the children from the store |

~Yes but no parents...The kids walked to the store themselves..If you did say something to them but politely and firm...I think perhaps that would be OK. Besides...by the time you left the store it really wouldn't matter anyway.*the children telling their parents* What would matter though, would be the choice of words and kindness offered to the children to be considerate of others.

Hmmm. Make sure noone else is looking... Bust the ball and loudly exclaim "They broke that ball" and look horrified. But really I would ignore them. Parents today are very overprotective of thier heathen offspring...err children. There is nothing like an irrate parent shouting and rolling thier eyes at you like you are beneathe them or something. Usually I just act like I am hocking a lugi and they leave very very quickly. or I just stare and pick my nose while looking coldly at them. hmmm I can be such a bum lol |

probably just ignore them. kids will be kids, and besides if their parents arent there then they'll probably just ignore you anyway. If they are being a major nusiance, then it'll probably only be a matter of time before the store manager has a word with them :) |

~Well....I picked B. and was proud of myself..I was the only one in line to speak up.
I turned around and started speaking to them about about consideration..I also complemented the 9 yr. old about his whistling. I asked him if his brother taught him how to whistle, he said they practice together...I told him, Wow really? That must be fun! Well...after the lite conversation the older boy said he was sorry...and I mean, you could feel, he was really sorry. I told him not to be sorry but to think about other people too..I told them both they were good boys and to have a fun day. It worked out quite well....{:->

considering that most stores have a policy that people under a certain age can be there without their parents, I would kindly tell them that they had to find their parents or leave. |
