Most of the time you start with yourself, then put your parents, then their parents, then their parents and so on and so on and so on. And sometimes you include the children of the parents too. I think some dude from Germany sent us one, he had all kinds of documents on how they died too. One guy was riding a horse late at night and he hit a tree branch, fell off, and died. |

I worked on family history and this is the way I did it. I started with my dads side of the family.I put his mother(and her maiden name down) and dad down) then each of there birthdays and when they got married and where. Next I put there children which was only 2 boys. It was only my dad and his brother. After that then I put the oldest child first which was my dads brother. Then I put his birthday and who he married and where they got married,I included her maiden name too. There children, who they married and where they got married, there children. Then I did my dad and our family the same way. My dads brother had 2 children each of them are married and they have 2 chilren. My dad and mom had 4 chilren my brother and I have 3 children each and my other 2 brothers have 2 chilren each. Then there are 10 grandchildren altogether, 5 are married then you write down who they married, when and where they got married.Don't forget to include maiden names. Then 4 couples have children, so you write down there names and birthdays of there children. After I got my dads side of the family done,I did my moms. There were a total of 9 children and I did her family the way I explained above. It's a lot of work and time but its fun. Now when ever some of my family members want to know a birthday, they come to me because they know I will have it. trauma momma |
