Has anyone read...

Any of these two books.. Stephen Donaldson, "Strange dreams" (I think its a collection of short storys) Or Rodger Taylor, 'The call of the sword'?

Because I just picked them up at a 2nd hand place. I didnt even get a chance to read the backs, because I was so rushed, so yeh.. If you could tell me wiether they are good or bad, or if you've heard of them at all, I would really love that! Thankyou..
