My older brother called me yesterday and told me he had gotten a confirmed result on the test his doctor gave him recently.He has been diagnosed with altzheimers, the first ever in our family. We have lost our only sister, our parents, our youngest brother, both sets of grandparents, our favorite uncle and last living relative on my moms side, just two months ago. I feel helpless and over-whelmed.What do you say? He lost his wife to cancer last year and he's seven hours away from me. I want him to come live with me but he won't. I know this disease. I was a caregiver for a dear lady and I saw the progression of this horrible disease. Its sad. Have you been exposed to this disease before? I just need a caring ear and a loving heart to pray for us, for strength and courage to see this through.Thanks.
