I am SO angry.

Well, today my financial aid was supposed to be disbursed, but it wasn't because the financial aid office is filled with brain dead idiots. It didn't disburse because the number of credit hours I'm taking didn't match the amount of credit hours that my award package is based on. That is the stupidest thing I've ever heard of. What really makes me mad is that they didn't bother to contact me with this little tidbit of information. I contacted them, otherwise I wouldn't have even known. They knew the amount of credit hours I was taking this semester. I don't understand why I had to fill out a form to tell them what they already knew in the first place. Is it me or is that an exercise in sheer stupidity? Now I have to wait and only God knows how much aid is going to be taken away. I swear it's like they knew that I needed that money.I'm living off campus so I need that financial aid to pay my rent. I'm practically broke because I still have not been able to find a job and the bills are starting to roll in. I'm so mad. To make matters worse, my car decided that this was the perfect time to spring a leak. I don't know what is leaking out of it but it's yellow and it doesn't look good.I don't want to drive it because I'm afraid that it might be brake fluid or something, which doesn't help me in my neverending quest for a job. As you can tell today has not been a very good day for me! I know I'm whining but I just can't help it.

Date: 9/9/2002 9:38:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 38119    I'm actually thinking of breaking down and looking for a job at the cafeteria on campus. No one ever wants those jobs so there's always openings.
Date: 9/9/2002 11:28:00 PM  From Authorid: 19345    For what its worth I don't think Ive ever had one semester that I haven't had problems with financial aid. One year several students had to drop out because someone screwed up something and aid was delayed weeks, it was a real mess here in Wisconsin. I always keep checking on their web site to make sure its all going ahead now, I also call the school as I'm sick of suprises. What really makes me mad is having to wait a few weeks to get it into the semester. I needed the book money BEFORE classes, and NO Miss financial aid woman who is snotty by the way, I don't have a credit card to get them or friends to borrow what 300 dollars for books! EEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Date: 9/10/2002 1:10:00 AM  From Authorid: 53052    goverment giving out money to help people.. it's always a stuggle they never want to give money to help someone... they just want to line thier own pockets with it...i know it's horrid you just gotta take it and take the pettyness of it all and go through the run around... it's not fun it can take hours sometimes days!
Date: 9/10/2002 10:32:00 AM  From Authorid: 53284    You have to remember, you get your college degree for sucsessfully completeing the registraion process and finding funding for at least four years. Many people think it has something to do with classes but go to the conspiracy web pages to find the truth

Date: 9/10/2002 11:21:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 38119    Wow, students actually had to drop out? I know how annoying it is to have to shell out hundreds of dollars for textbooks. I'm lucky in the fact that the school I transferred to rents their textbooks so I didn't have to go to the bookstore and get robbed.
Date: 9/10/2002 11:22:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 38119    Midnightly, your right it is petty.
Date: 9/10/2002 11:24:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 38119    Wildbob, I think you're right. It is a conspiracy.
