**I know it's LONG but PLEASE read it ALL! It's GOOD!**
"Okay so where are we going?" Metalliman asked Rika as they cruised along in the silver Jaguar.
Rika was driving...yes, Bren had trusted her with his distant cousin's third uncle's cat's wife's car, the expensive, silver Jaguar. Bren was riding along in the passenger's seat waiting for Rika's answer.
"I TOLD you! A PLACE!" Rika said with a laugh.
Bren laughed too. "Well what KIND of place?"
Rika turned down A Place Road, where there was a lake a few miles down the way. "The lake," Rika answered.
Bren turned away as his eyes widened. The lake on A Place Road. Wow, he thought.
The lake was a popular place for - uh - couples. To kiss and stuff. But people didn't just go there for that purpose...the lake was famous for it's size and beauty. It was especially popular at the time of sunset, when the sun glittered just right before being swallowed up by the endless night sky.
"Yeah, Bren, homie, I KNOW what you're thinking. And I am NOT gonna make out with you," Rika said, laughing again.
Bren silently thought, Darn! "I know," he said to Rika.
She pulled into a space near the edge of the lake, surrounded by massive rocks. There was nobody else around. They both got out of the car, with Bren again opening Rika's door for her, and they stood there for a silent moment.
Then Bren reached out and took Rika's hand in his. "You are so amazing," he said to her sincerely with a smile.
Rika laughed (again, lol). "I know," she said jokingly, slightly blushing.
Bren laughed too and shook his head...such a Rika thing to say.
Rika walked over to the rocks, picked up some pebbles, and stood on one of the boulders that stretched into the lake. She began tossing the pebbles into the water. Bren came and stood on the rock next to her with his hands in his pockets. When she was out of pebbles, he said to her in a whisper, "Rika?"
She turned to face him. They were standing inches apart.
Bren swallowed nervously...
and went for the kiss.
It was nice, soft, and gentle...but he enjoyed it. And so did she.
When it was done, they came apart and smiled shyly at each other. Wow, Bren thought.
Wow.
