If I never seem to express my inner-most feelings towards those that read 'crime-time', I get a certain strength from knowing that people read my stories and my 'issues', my opinions and my beliefs. To my 'true-crime' friends here, as well as "partners-in-crime" *NOTE: CRIMETIME IS CURRENTLY SEEKING MEMBERS TO JOIN "PARTNERS-IN-CRIME". WE HAVE A SINGLE GOAL, TO MAKE PARENTS CHECK ON THEIR CHILDREN AT NIGHT, EDUCATE THEM ON THE EPIDEMIC OF MISSING/ENDANGERED CHILDREN (angels) that is sweeping the nation. To STRENGTHEN THE RESOLVE OF PEOPLE AND THEIR REFUSAL TO LET THESE ABDUCTIONS, TO ALLOW THESE MURDERS, AND TO WIPE OUT THE WORLD OF 'CHILD-PORNOGRAPHY'- WHICH IS A MAIN REASON IN THE INCREASE OF PEDOPHILES, VIOLENT SEXUAL PREDATORS, AND CHILD KILLERS............PLEASE CHECK OUT MY PROFILE, IT LISTS' THE CURRENT partners-in-crime, and all of the state's that has a representative, IF YOUR STATE ISN'T REPRESENTED, SIGN ON AND BE THE REP. To the die-hard 'crime-timers', thanx! You do inspire me and bring out the most ability and joy in my writing. I find you to be rock. The ones that I don't even know, I feel as if you are there on my side, the ones who message with their thoughts and theories- I love and enjoy your company. It is 'true-crime', and those who are stepping up to the plate to help in the planning of the lst Annual 'c r i m e - t i m e' CRUSADE FOR THE ANGELS; 2003/ offering your help- ' gives me a much needed boost. This is not an easy problem to try and even think we can make a difference, but WE can! I read more American propaganda today, when they reported that violent crime has dropped 9% since 1975! ummmmh, ok?
So the jury's still out on the fate of David Westerfield. Remember him? He was found guilty a couple of weeks ago, of kidnapping, raping, murdering, concealment of her 7 year-old body, and having child pornography on his computer. Yet, the same jury can't decide, I believe, whether to let him rot for the rest of life, and live with his crime, until he realize's the total nature of his actions and choices, or to destroy him, like putting a blind poodle to sleep at the veternairian. Lethal injection, doesn't give the frightening and torturous visions, that the 'electric-chair', or 'gas chamber'. Putting a vicious and savage murderer, with no regard for human life, to sleep by lethal injection doesn't come close to matching the brutality of their crimes. It isn't much different for Westerfield, either way the jury decides. If he gets 'death', he's a 50 year old man- and after years and years of appeals and attempts to question all aspects of his trial, he'll be locked up with Death-row inmates accused of similar crimes and worse. Even of 'death-row'- Westerfield isn't going to fit in with the cold-blooded killers, let's not forget what this man did: Let's never forget Danielle van Dam and that he made her last hours and days on earth, scenes out of the most apocolyptic movies ever made. He tortured her most tender and innocent parts. He bullied and murdered this 7 year-old 'Angel'. On the other hand, if he get life, without the possibility of parole- he would get to take his brain, with all of that intellect and skill, sit and fight off flashbacks of the heinous nature of those Evil things that he committed against Danielle. The thought of him being locked up in a cell-block with a group of hardened prisoners, that don't appreciate men that kill elderly or children, especially a cold-blooded killing-pedophile/predator. I wish I really knew how many other children he sodomized & raped, as well as murdered.....
SYSTEM'MELTDOWN; I don't agree or condone, with children who murder their parents, then plead 'temporary insanity. These people, who provided and tried to nurture these children, to be hacked to death inside the home, they helped build. But there's Erik and there's Lyle Menendez, who were spending their wealthy parents money- before the blood all over their master bedroom had begun to dry. But, is it the same with Alex & Derek King? People say, "well I had a rough childhood and I don't kill people when I feel like it." But how about being born into squalor and unsanitary surroundings, with no food, or formula. The state child-protection services step in and separate the two brothers, only a year and a half apart in age. Derek would bounce from foster home to foster home for the next ten years of his life, Alex would be awarded to his father, Terry King, who by accounts was an abusive and bullying force in Alex's life. Derek finally had developed enough of a routine to get thrown to his father, due to the fact, he had worn out his welcome in the foster parent program.
Alex 12, Derek 13- shared deep and dark secrets. Although their young minds had developed theories and justifications to deal with it, truth is, both boys had been sexually assaulted, and Alex had completely been broken and his sexuality totally destroyed by a child molester named Ricky Marvin Chavis, a 40 year-old, convicted pedophile. Although Dereks abuse and molestation had ceased, probably explaining his desperation to get out of the final 'foster-home'. It was well documented that Derek absolutely despised his dad's verbal abuse and constant shoving of little Alex.
Ricky Chavis, convicted of molesting 3 young boys, had stocked his home with cable television, ninetendo, play-station, music, and all of the enemities it would take to lure teenage boys to his residence. Then he started listening to the King boys, and their complaints centered around their loud, abusive father- whom they admit, didn't hit them, just knocked them down and screamed constantly, insulting them. Even Terry King realized the problems were slowly growing out of control, he told co-workers that he felt like his 2 boys were planning something against him. He had considered, locking them in their room, from the outside. Ricky Chavis offered to rid Terry King of his boys and take the responsibilities of raising them. Terry King told Chavis, he would kill the boys lst, before he'd let them live with Ricky Marvin Chavis. That statement was Chavis's motive in my mind. So you have 2 brothers that share a bond, that lies deeper than will ever be known, the same mother abandoned them, the same experiences happened to them, they're survivors. Are they taking the rap for Ricky Chavis? The man that promised them a home of love and happiness? Did he convince them that they would walk, and he would be found innocent? At any rate- these boys were abused and terrorized by our system to protect and help children like this, but we don't. One thing I noticed out of the entire trial, was that neither boy said one positive thing about their father. I found that to be interesting. Not "I miss him", not "I love him very much"- just how the plot unfolded then fell apart. The events of the lives of Alex and Derek King will never be fully exposed, but the pain they have hidden inside won't be fixed by shipping them to jail. If Manson supposedly brainwashed 25 people into committing a mass murder, then why can't a smooth talking predator/ child rapist brainwash two little boys into a crime? Especially after he's won the love and admiration of little Alex. I don't know, but this is 2002: peace: tomevans/
