I'm good at diagnosing myself because of stuff I've had in the past...but I'm not a professional and I won't even guess with your friend. her best bet is to get into the eye doctor asap....I've been through stuff like this and had been put on several meds...within a few days or so it's always better.  |

So you think its something serious? It kinda comes and goes, but when shes playing sport she diffenatly complains. Its not an infection by the look of it, just the eye ball feeling funny.. arghh ill tell her anyway.. THANKYOU :D  |

That sounds like my eyes. I get that way the worst around June July and August of every year. I guess its because its so dry out, so it dries your eyes out too. I mean I never went to the doctor for mine because I can't afford it so I am just guessing its dry eyes. Also I bought some of those Visene Allergy eye drops and they helped alot, almost cleared it up completely so that's another reason I think my problem is just dry eyes. I don't know what to say about your friends problem. If they feel more than just dry and irritated from the weather then maybe they should go to the doctor.  |

Oh ya, also some mornings when I wake up my eye balls are SOOO dry that I can feel the dryness behind them and its hard to blink and no matter what I do my eyes wont water enough to make them feel better so I have to depend on eye drops. That only happens sometimes though. Like once a week or so. |

maybe she doesn't produce enough moisture i had a problem with brightness i bought some blue tinted lenses and they helped alot.. my mother has very easily irritated eyes she had to put heat on her eyes a few times a day what she did was she boiled eggs and wraped them in a cloth and put them on her eyes(she used eggs because they hold the heat in for awhile) it helped her alot  |

She might have tiny ulcers on her eyes. My friend had them, and that's what happened to her. I would go to a doctor.  |

*sigh* I hope she got in....sorry i was having my own problems that day...but what went through my mind as possibilities was: raised pressure within the eyes, sunburned corneas, dry corneas, or even the ulcers like real tears said....I've had all those problems minus the ulcers and they all pretty much produced the same result.....hope she got in... |
