Somewhere (By author of poem trying to get through)

Somewhere on earth a girl cries herself to sleep.
With her hands clasped together she prays her soul to keep.
She doesn't know why, but she feels so confused
everything's a mess, she feels like no use.
She is scared of her future and of being all alone.
She wants to be happy forever and stay close to home.
But as she grows older
the comfort she once felt grows colder.
Somewhere in heaven god hears that girls prayer
he feels her weepy loneliness in the air.
He can only help her a little at a time,
though he just wants to reach out and make everything fine.
As her head hits the pillow she begins to cry,
god hears her whisper she wants her last goodbye.
He lets this one go,
the both of them know
that she doesn't want to mean it.
He say's with a tearfull sigh,"Life,I wont let her quite it".
He feels so bad becuase no one will listen
to a girl who's scared and who's tearfull eyes glisten.

Somewhere on earth a girl cries herself to sleep.
She wishes her happiness was something she could keep.
