YUK! I have them too. I stand on chairs! My land-lady buys poison pellets and they take the poison back to the nest, so...those work good. They are cheap too. 9mom |

chickywoo, I worked in a Health Food Store here awhile back and a man came in for Peppermint Oil. They put it on cotton balls and put them in their attic and basement to get rid of mice. He swears by this stuff working. It must be pure peppermint oil to work. Hope it does. Peace to All...Angelreader |

You got to put the pellets everywhere you can think they might be. They eat that stuff up and it worked great for me. Good luck. |

The peppermint oil thing works! And it makes your house smell like a giant candycane Poison scares me... especially with kids in the house and those sticky pads are extremely inhumane (in my opinion...) what do you do with the rodent once it's stuck? Usually toss it and starve it to death. I like traps! The kind that snap. Quick and nearly painless... much more humane... but try the peppermint oil |

I had mice once but my doctor just recommended a good laxative. I know my stomach feels a whole lot better now. My cousin, William, once had worms. We all laughed and called him, 'wormy Willy.' He committed suicide not long after that. |

I'm going to have to try that peppermint oil thing myself. I don't have any mice now, but I have in the past and it is a huge pain. I tried everything. The only thing that worked finally was using the poison but I hate to do that with young kids in the house. If it happens again I'm trying that peppermint oil. |

I think that the pads are inhumane too. You can't get him off so he just starves. I've heard of the perperment oil but for spiders and bugs. Pellets have always worked for me though. Good luck |

I know how you feel. I dont want to kill them either but in the same sense they have to go. I have more than one. We live close to the lake so it's common, especially since the weather is chilly now. At least it's not rats EEWWWWW. chickywoo |
